El Luchador by Berry Henderson

El Luchador
by Berry Henderson

The name had stuck from the first headline: El Luchador Strikes Again!

Sure, after the sixth attack in as many weeks, no backyard birthday party could be remotely safe from such serial attacks.

Easy enough to read the clues of his passage--"El Luchador" spelled out in hard candy and gum on the ground beneath the ruptured stomach of yet another pinata.

Author bio:

Berry Henderson's work has appeared in Behind the Wainscot (Issues 11 and 14), Forbidden Speculation, Surreal Imaginings, GrendelSong, The Shantytown Anomaly, and Lorelei Signal. Forthcoming poetry will appear in Kaleidotrope, and in the fall a short story of mine will appear in Fantasy Magazine. I have a short story and a novella in queue for publication through Drollerie Press, and I was nominated last year for a Dwarf Stars Poetry Award with the SFPA.
